We have been forced to extend our stay by a couple of nights due to the snow. Today they brought in a skid steer to clear snow around the RVs that are here.

The main reason for the four stars is not the amenities. It is for the camp hosts. They have been nothing but superbly helpful. We come up for the Christmas week and last year stayed at Glencoe Motel & RV Park. I first noticed Hot Springs RV last year when we had almost two feet of snow and the owners at Glencoe did not do anything towards helping their guests.

It isn't always what it looks like on the internet... But after a warm welcome we could enjoy our stay.... The facilities are minimal, but it is situated in the centre of te city....

This RV park was horrible. It was run down and the owner is a nut case. He got in my husbands face while screaming at him first thing in the morning. They refused a refund as well. I would t recommend this place to anyone.

I want to first start off by saying that camping should be a fun and enjoyable experience. People work hard in order to afford to spend some time away with their friends and family. If you don't agree with this and own a campground, your probably in the wrong business. As an owner of a campground you would think that you wouldn't go out of your way to ruin the experience of a paying customer without a legitimate reason. Tonight I went to visit our friends at Hot springs RV and camping and was treated so rudely. When we first arrived a woman greeted us with a glare on her face and told us we weren't aloud our vehicle on the property. We politely abliged and moved our vehicle to the road. Once parked and at our friends site she again approached us and told us we needed to pay to stay until 11pm, which we did happily; it was only five dollars. At 10:40 the male owner told our friends that we better be off the site by 11pm or he was calling the police. At 10:50pm we said our goodbyes and were off the property by 10:55pm. At 10:56pm, as we were getting into our vehicle (which was parked on the road), the owner walked up yelling at us to 'get out of here now or I'm calling the police, and your friends will be out of here too'. He was also pointing a flashlight in our eyes and saying something about security cameras. We weren't being rowdy and were actually being really quiet our whole visit. We are family people and had a bunch of kids with us. Our kids were quiet and well behaved. All we did the whole evening was BBQ and roast marshmallows. We kept our music super low all evening and our voices down. No one was heavily drinking, so there was no reason for his outburst at all. It wasn't even 11pm and we were already off the property when he approached us. It was completely uncalled for as we had payed to stay there until 11pm. If he had waited until 11pm to come out we would have been long gone. Anyways, he was also rude to our friends, and in speaking to other campers and locals we were told that this is the guys normal. Apparently he makes a habit out of yelling and disrespecting all his customers. Terrible business owner. Save your self the headache and stay far way from this place. Don't say you weren't warned!

Over this past week we have had some impatience with people that work at the resort and one of the restaurants. I know it is tough in the service industry to keep a smiley face going and Fran and her husband do that very well. They even had one of their longtimer's , Jessica, check in with us during Christmas Eve when they were off-site.

terrable---if you need an afternoon nap the owner does nothing but yell all day long at people parking out front. He called the cops on us for being loud at like ten pm and my son got arrested. Stay away and to the owner you should call the police on yourself for all the non stop yelling you do. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND

I have been to many a RV park. I have learned not to expect much in services. The site met my expectations. It is level, the power is consistent, even in a decades only ice & snow storm, the water pressure is good; and the septic has no issues. A bonus here is the WiFi. Normally a park advertises having it, but it is usually sparse and inconsistent. Here it is adequate in signal but very consistent.

This year we stayed here at Hot Springs. Fran and her husband called us and confirmed our reservation before hand and then greeted us warmly. It was bitterly cold for the first couple of nights and then we got walloped by almost three feet of snow!
